In 250 words or more, answer one of these prompts. Be sure to cite any reference that supports your answer:
Prompt one. What is the best metaphor for what a cell does during Meiosis: a power plant, a city, a pond, a factory, a house, a recycling plant, a hospital, a restaurant, or something else? (Hint: think about which one from the list Meiosis process is most like; explain why your choice is the best metaphor).
Prompt two. Think about all of the organisms that have cells undergoing Meiosis. Pick one cell undergoing Meiosis and describe its story. (Hint: describe what it is a part of and how it might tell its own life story; you might even give it a name; it can be a pea pod cell for instance…)
